The most important tourist attractions are:

Belvedere palace

The Upper Belvedere houses the Austrian Gallery, the Lower Belvedere, the Baroque Museum and the Museum of Medieval Austrian Art.

Historical Museum of the City of Vienna

More than 200.000 issues can be found in the enormous Grand Hall. It also houses a huge collection of printed publications, literature archive, a papyrus collection, a collection of portraits and a music collection.

Prater

This is a vast recreation area inVienna with extensive woodlands and meadows as well as Austria’s largest amusement park. The main attraction is the Giant Ferris Wheel. Opening hours 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
